Finite Versus Infinite

The most limiting belief I encounter with people about prosperity is the belief that money is finite. Remember money is simply a mind virus created by man. It’s a tool we use to barter services and goods. But money is not prosperity, it is a tool for exchange of it.

All true prosperity is infinite. Things like love, hugs, and other form of prosperity are inexhaustible. As the Buddha so famously taught, thousands of candles can be lit by a single candle, without shortening its life by a single second. The more prosperity you circulate, the more you will receive.

Prospecting 101: Talking to Anyone

Prospecting and networking may not be natural to you but it’s not something you can’t learn to do!

The worst feeling in the world, though, is walking into a room, realising you know no one, and then trying to figure out where to start.

Fortunately, I have good news for those who are a bit shy. Building rapport with new people is a skill.

So what can you do to build rapport? Try these approaches:  that can be learned. Your conversations with new people and strangers don’t have to be strained and jilted. Besides, if you can build up a personal rapport first you’ll have an easier time discussing business later on.

  • Dress to impress. The first thing a person will notice about is is the way you look. As a matter of fact, they’ll look at your appearance before they even greet you. Make sure your hair is done, your clothes are clean, and that you are dressed in a style similar to what your customer wears daily.
  • Be disarmingly honest. What I mean is that you shouldn’t answer the standard greeting questions with the same old “Fine – how are you?” responses all the time. Occasionally you should be honest when answering this type of question. Laugh the question off and tell them about the rough start you had that morning or relay a funny story about your children. Your answer, while honest, will be completely unexpected.
  • Incorporate a sincere complement into your conversation. The next time you meet with a customer, prospect, or peer pay special attention to him and his business. Let him know if you see something that really makes a positive impression. He’ll appreciate the compliment and it will open up doors for continued conversation.

These are just three simple tips for establishing rapport but you can see from these how easy it really is to strike up a conversation with someone you know very little about.

Try to make a connection on a personal level and the rest of your prospecting experience will go much smoother.

Pre-Talk is the conversation you have with a prospect before you share the Sami Direct opportunity with him/her. What you say during Pre-Talk is going to have bearing on the way the meeting will go! It can lead to a plan show or it can lead you to moving on to other prospects as you think that this particular prospect might not be a right fit at this time.

In short, Pre-Talk is about melting the ice between you and your prospect.  It is about creating a rapport with him/her by telling him about yourself and  finding out more information about them.

It is also about finding out why the prospect would get started in your business!

Now that sounds tough, doesn’t it?

For how can we know as to what is on the prospect’s mind??? What does he/she exactly want???

So it is an impossible task! Or is it?

Let me assure you that this is one of the easiest things to do in the business, finding out what your prospect wants.

Keep 5-10 printouts of GRF along whenever you go for a presentation. 

Start with a little conversation about yourself and ask them what they do for a living, who all are there in their family, what do they do for recreation etc. Once you have created a rapport with them, have them fill out the GRF.

Ask them to fill it out honestly! 

Once they have done the same, review the filled in GRF. Many of your prospects might have left some fields blank. Ask them to fill them in.

And then ask them if they were serious about having their dreams turn into realities in the next 2-3 years! If they say ‘Yes’, share the Sami Direct opportunity with them.
